Crime Stoppers provides a telephone number and Web Tips to encourage citizens in the community to volunteer vital information helpful to law enforcement agencies to fight against crime.
Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.
The North Texas CrimeStoppers and the Texas Bankers Foundation are offering a reward of up to$10,000 for tips on the following bank robbers.
On Monday, March 10, 2014, three men robbed the Bank of America located at 2015 Coit Road in Plano, Texas. They entered the bank and demanded cash verbally; all of the men brandished weapons. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robbers exited the bank and left in a waiting vehicle, which contained a fourth suspect. The vehicle, which was stolen, was abandoned near the bank. No one was seriously injured, but the subjects’actions inside the bank were aggressive.
All of the robbers were covered in dark clothing—long pants, long shirts, gloves, hoodies, and full facial masks. They are described as black males, in their late 20s or early 30s, ranging from approximately 5’7” to 6’0” tall. Two suspects have a thin build and one is heavyset. It is possible that thes uspects could be connected to other metroplex bank robberies.
